History
Ah, the 1930s in America…the era of Art Deco, big band, small hats, and a nation full of resourceful people who made it work during hard times. In 1938, plumber Tony Holtmeier struck out on his own, creating a business that would thrive across generations. In 1942, Tony purchased property located on Madison Road, which is where Holtmeier Plumbing still resides today.
Tony was later joined by two of his sons, Don and Tom, as the second generation of Holtmeier plumbers began. Tony eventually retired in 1971. The third generation began in 1979 when Don’s son Andrew came to work, followed by son Tommy in 1983, and son Paul in 1991. Upon Don’s retirement in 1989, sons Andrew and Tommy became owners. The fourth generation began in 2002, when Don’s grandson Adam came to work. Grandson Sam followed in 2015.
Holtmeier Plumbing continues to carry on the legacy that Tony built, and we strive to uphold the work ethic, passion, and professionalism that he instilled in us. We look forward to what the future holds for the next generation of Holtmeier plumbers.
